Building the Future: My Journey, My Inventions, and My Vision for Oregon

  Caregiver Roots, Inventor’s Calling I never set out to be an inventor. My first calling was caregiving. For nearly 20 years, I have worked in healthcare — supporting seniors, people with disabilities, and those living in constant pain. I watched someone I love endure unrelenting suffering, and it changed me. I couldn’t just accept that “this is how things are.” Comfort wasn’t enough. Pills weren’t enough. We needed solutions. That moment of clarity pushed me from caregiver to creator. I began sketching, researching, imagining. One of my first breakthroughs was OmniDots — a microscopic, AI-assisted device designed to modulate pain at the neural level. Not another pill. Not another addictive bandage. A real pathway to healing. I didn’t get the wake-up call from Oregon first. I watched California burn—towns erased, orange skies, friends coughing through weeks of smoke.
